Renault Trucks

Renault Trucks is the main sponsor of the European Truck Racing Grand Prix event at Donington Park.

The manufacturer has been a major competitor in truck racing since 2007 and its sponsored team, MKR Technology, finished the 2010 series in first place, taking the team championship a clear 27 points ahead of its nearest rival.

One aspect of the close relationship Renault Trucks has with its customers and drivers is the passion for trucks it shares with them. Renault Trucks works closely with MKR Technology and will be supplying the team with its ‘engine’ technology and assistance throughout the season.

The MKR team is managed by Mario Kress and consists of many experienced Truck Racing professionals. The 2011 season sees the MKR-Renault trucks driven by two drivers with impressive track records – the Swiss Markus Bösiger and the German Markus Oestreich.
